Refund & Return Policy

At South Form, we are committed to delivering high-quality products and ensuring compliance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (“ECT Act”). Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.


1. General Policy

All purchases are considered final unless a return, replacement or refund is required under applicable South African law or is approved by South Form at its sole discretion.

We do not accept returns or issue refunds because:

  • You changed your mind.
  • You ordered the incorrect size after failing to consult our size guide.
  • You no longer want the product.
  • You found the item at a lower price elsewhere.
  • The item did not meet personal expectations where it matches the description provided.

Any exception to this policy is made solely at South Form’s discretion and does not create a precedent for future orders.


2. Return Requirements

To qualify for an approved return, all items must:

  • Be unused and unworn.
  • Be unwashed.
  • Be in their original condition.
  • Have all original tags attached.
  • Be free from stains, odours, makeup, deodorant marks, pet hair or any other signs of use.
  • Be returned with the original packaging where reasonably possible.

South Form reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet these conditions.


3. Hygiene Products

For hygiene and health reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied:

  • Underwear
  • Compression garments that have been worn
  • Products with broken hygiene seals
  • Gift cards


4. Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a product that is:

  • defective;
  • damaged during delivery;
  • materially different from what was ordered; or
  • incorrectly supplied,

please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order and provide clear photographs together with your order number.

In accordance with Sections 55 and 56 of the Consumer Protection Act, defective products may qualify for a repair, replacement or refund within the applicable statutory period. South Form reserves the right to inspect the returned item to determine whether the defect resulted from manufacturing or misuse.


5. Items That Cannot Be Returned

Returns will not be accepted where:

  • The product has been worn or used.
  • The product has been washed.
  • The product has been altered in any way.
  • Original tags have been removed.
  • The product has been damaged through misuse, negligence or improper care.
  • The product shows normal wear and tear.


6. Size Exchanges

Customers are solely responsible for selecting the correct size before completing their purchase.

Where South Form agrees to a size exchange as a gesture of goodwill:

  • The item must satisfy all return conditions.
  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • Customers may also be responsible for replacement shipping costs.

Approval of size exchanges remains entirely at South Form’s discretion unless otherwise required by South African law.


7. Refunds

Approved refunds will only be issued to the original payment method used during checkout.

Please note:

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by law.
  • Refunds are only processed after the returned product has been inspected and approved.
  • Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.


8. Online Purchases

Where applicable, consumers purchasing online may have certain statutory cooling-off rights under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. These rights apply only where legally required and subject to the conditions prescribed by law.


9. Return Shipping

Unless otherwise required by South African law:

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • South Form is not responsible for returns lost or damaged during transit.
  • We strongly recommend using a tracked courier service.

If a return is approved due to our error or a verified manufacturing defect, reasonable return shipping costs may be covered by South Form where required by law.


10. Fraud Prevention

To protect both our customers and our business, South Form reserves the right to:

  • Refuse suspicious or fraudulent return requests.
  • Request proof of purchase.
  • Verify the condition and authenticity of returned products before approving any refund or exchange.
  • Decline claims where evidence suggests abuse of this policy.

Fraudulent activity may be reported to the relevant authorities.
